Is there an active woodworking club in the Shreveport/Bossier City, LA area?

I'm very interested in joining a group where I can learn some woodworking skills and how to operate different tools etc. (i'm a total beginner)

1. If there is a Home Depot near you, they offer classes for all types of do it yourself projects. Other than that, you could contact your local chamber of commerce and ask them for information on clubs and newsletters in your area. Also local shops/stores and small newspapers may have information or flyers on clubs. Good luck, hope this helps!
