help with making floor plans?

i'm having difficulty in creating floor plans & furniture layouts especially how i'm gonna put walls, separate rooms, etc. putting diagonal & curve walls interests me yet i find it too hard. the bubble diagram doesn't work for me. i wonder how designers make nice & plans that work. i also wanna know how to eliminate unused space.

  1. Designers go to school to learn how to do their job, as do architects. But the best way to do it is to do what you like. As far as unused space, try software for your computer that lets you move things around until everything is where you want it. Also try reading home design magazines for ideas.
  2. Many years of school and practice in the field are what allow designers to draw floor plans that work and that use all of the space without leaving leftover dead space. If you are interested in learning about it you should take a class, that is the best way to learn.
