Where to Find Garden Plans or Customize Myself Online? Im looking to do some garden landscaping & in need of some websites that I can maximize every bit of space that I have. Im start'g on the side yard 1st & have put in my 2 trees & some sod & put in a drip system. But now I need to frame the area around the sod & my trees & in between the 2 (roughly 26'x22'). But not sure where to put the flowers. I intend to use a total of 30+ varieties as this will be my Master Garden. Is there a website that will let me create this on my own by color? Im only using shades of Blues, Pinks, & Purples and White and a Purple Alyssum as a ground cover. Or any websites that could/would show me layouts that have been sketched & used to give me some ideas? Im think'g of mixing a Mediterranean Garden, a Country Garden, & Arizona Native Garden for my Master Garden.
Where can I find free landscape and garden plans for front and backyards? What I am asking for is an actualy landscape layout or design that describes which plants go where, ect.
Buying garden plans? Has anyone bought garden plans through mail? It's the kind where you order a garden layout and it comes with the plants, planting instructions and a planting diagram. I was wondering if anyone has tried doing this and how well the garden performed. Thanks!

plans for hillside garden stairs? My house is on a hillside lot and there is a steep slope in our yard, with a flat area at the top where we would like to plant a vegetable garden. The soil is clay and rock and seems pretty stable--the house has been there 80 years with apparently no slides. Plans / Blueprints For Garden Workshop? Ok, so we wanna build a workshop in the bottom of the garden, it needs to be watertight, 12ft x 10ft and 7ft4 high. It Can NOT have any windows, needs a door on the 12ft side, probably in the middle, but not too fussed. Do Not want a prebuilt thing, thats why i want some plans, for FREEEEEEEEEEE! Grrr, when i say plans, i mean like a design, a layout, a cutting diagram etc. I dont mean plans for a builder, or for planning permission

Planting wildflowers around my veggie garden- Good Plan? I'm going to have a garden 50' x90' and an addition 20x'40' with tomatoes. I was planning on planting a 2-4 foot wide strip of mixed wildflowers round the edge to help attract bees and stuff. Is this a good plan? I'm running drip irgation to the garden, will the flowers need to be watered this way also? I'm in zone 7 with very sandy soil. Thanks in advance! To reply to 3rd comment: The garden will be in a already fenced area which has a wide gate for tractor access and I'll be planting the flowers around outside the fence so it wont be hindering the garden at all. The Tomatoes will be grown right next to the fenced area where last years garden was so they are connected and easy access. I'm planting so much becauce I will be home canning most of it from my family and close relatives. We have sucessfully grown everything before, I just want to do it bigger and better then before. We have gotten a tractor and plows so it wont be as big of a chore. Plus we're multching everything and combined with the drip irrgation that should keep alot of the weeds down. I'm a stay at home mom so I've got the time it will take. I've even got the wildflower seeds already due to some deaths in the family and they make thoes packets up for people and we have a bunch left over. Thanks for the thoughts and advice from everyone!
HOw do you plan on designing your garden(s) this spring/summer? hmmmm ..... Wish I could spend a lot more, but decided to plant on one side all blue gladiolus (around 30 I guess), in the middle a jiant spread of huge zinnia's/color variety, then on the right side a slew of fushia w/white lillies (so expensive but very gorgeous flower indeed!) The background will be the biggest/tallest/largest sunflower possible/plant those every year. Aren't sunflowers charming? and inexpenive :-) any idea's for a nice border? some type of greenery that's highly attractive, grows well in full sun? What's your gardening plans this season? :o)
Is there a website that has gardening plans with pictures? I'm a beginner at gardening and don't know what flowers and plants look nice together or how to plant them. So I am looking for a site that has examples of gardens and points out what kind of flowers and plants were used. I found Burpee.com which sells a kit but I am looking for something more detailed. It doesn't even need to be a plant selling company. Or maybe a web site of experts that i can send a picture to and could label the flowers.
Planning my garden for spring - would it be ok to move an established Lilac bush or simply plant a new one? How to create a organic garden? I recently had an old wooden house i purchased torn down. the city refilled the large hole which is approximately 3 feet deep with useless light brown dirt and large granite white rocks. I would like to create a fruit and vegetable organic garden. I need help planning a flower garden this spring!? The way my porch is set up makes it hard for me to plan a flower garden. Instead of being higher off the ground, it is almost level to my yard. The concrete is about 2 inches higher than the yard, and there is a sidewalk going to it. Anybody have any ideas for a flower garden that would make it look awesome??? Thanks!

Planning regulations for turning a detached garden room into self-contained rental unit -UK? A friend has a large 'garden room' at the back of the house and they are thinking of putting in all the services in order to rent it out as a 1-bedroom unit. What consents would be required? Would building regulations be needed as well as planning consent? It is a separate building to the main home and is just a simple store room. It does have light and heat but obviously no kitchen or toilet facilities. In order to make letting it legal and insurable what consents need to be in place?

do architects have to show gardens in their plans. If are enclosed does this have to be clearly marked? I am referring to a development of nine houses in the village I live. They are being built within a conservation area on what was the village green . It appears to be open plan as there are no divisions marked for gardens on the plans. There is however planting shown along with exsisting trees. Should the plans show the houses with gardens if there are going to be gardens.
Hi there! Need some help about garden planning!? If i wanna set up a secret garden at the amazon rain forest, how should i keep people out of my garden, and prevent them from entering or even location. Cause i am gonna plant some of the world most useful medication plants at the garden, i dont wish people could steal them. By the way, there wont be anyone guarding the garden. Anybody would be told of this garden before too, useless they found it on their own. I will only showcase the garden 50 years later. Any suggestions? By the way many thanks for helping :)

So, who else has started to plan their garden? I received my favorite gardening catalog in the mail the other day, and now I'm planning my garden. Are there any other gardeners out there who have started planning their gardens already? What do you plan to put in them? Just curious... :o) Oops! I guess I should mention what I'm planting, eh? :o) Seeds of Change is the only catalog I order from, and, boy, do they have some cool varieties this year! I may even try amaranth or quinoa if I can find space for them. Otherwise, I always plant tomatoes, potatoes, hot peppers, sweet peppers, sunflowers, squash, corn, basil, and I need to replant strawberries... that's where I'm at, for now. I have asperagus and blueberries plus catnip, beebalm, and chives (assuming they make it through winter) already in the garden. My daughter has her own garden, though I don't think she's planned it, yet.. I have grapevines, but I neglected them last year. I'll be busy trimming them and installing trellises this spring. Fun, fun, fun! :o)
