Where can I find free furniture plans of mission and arts and crafts style? I found lots of sites full of links to other sites and only one site with actual plans on it : http://free-furniture-plans.com I'm looking for more like it. Any ideas?
i need Frank Lloyd Wright furniture plans? i can find just about any furniture plan on the internet,but for some reason i cant find a single plan for FLW designs.other than regular arts and crafts pieces.FLW had so many wonderful designs. i can find many books about him and his pieces but none with deatailed plans anyone that can help?

Is the lazy boy furniture protection plan really worth it? I'm planning on buying a lazy boy leather recliner and of course the sales people tell me I should buy the Guardsman furniture protection plan which is an additional $89. Is this something really necessary or is this just another money maker for the corporation? Will any store bought leather cleaner do?

Need help with space planning/furniture layout in my new home? We are about to buy a new house and I want to figure out the best way to use the space (mainly on the ground floor). We have one room that will be a lounge, but then have a slight l-shaped space that needs to include a dining room table, but don't know how to arrange the furniture and what else could be put in that same room. I have read about some software you can download, but I was looking for something free ideally! Any ideas?

Space planning/furniture layout software or website? Before buying new furniture I've been trying to figure out the best sizes and types of furniture and what layout would be best. I already made a grid floorplan of my room and used some cutout furniture pieces to see what would work, but I'm just not coming up with any great ideas. Is there some type of software or website etc. that I can put in my floorplan and it give me suggested solutions?
Has anyone out there purchased the Guardsman Furniture Protection Plan and had a problem? Just purchase $5k worth of bedroom furniture and paid $299 extra for the Guardsman Gold In Home Protection plan. Has anyone used it and had a problem? Would like to know ASAP in case I need to cancel it. P.S. The BBB doesn't seem to have a problem with this company.
help with making floor plans? i'm having difficulty in creating floor plans & furniture layouts especially how i'm gonna put walls, separate rooms, etc. putting diagonal & curve walls interests me yet i find it too hard. the bubble diagram doesn't work for me. i wonder how designers make nice & plans that work. i also wanna know how to eliminate unused space.

How do i pack my furniture during long absence? Hi, we are buying a new set of sofa (Leather), a new dining table (glass top with steel/aluminium bottom) and a cot (wooden). We would be using it for 2 months. Later we would be going to a different place for 4 to 5 years before we get back here again and use this furniture. During this long absence we are planning to pack all the furniture and lock it up in a room till we get back (after 4 to 5 years). Please let me know how I can pack these pieces of furniture and with what material should I pack such that once we get back the furniture is still in good shape as it would be today. I fear that whenever I leave the house, the appliances and furniture are making plans on how to get me...? Does your house do that to you. I don't know what they want from me. I keep them clean and well feed. Spend time with each one. Apparently it's not enough. They will be making their move soon. How long does it usually take to get bedroom furniture? Do most stores have you "order" the furniture? I'm in the market for some new bedroom furniture. I'm not necessarily in a hurry to get it, but I am curious about how long I can expect the process to take. I plan on buying from a "showroom" type furniture store, as opposed to a warehouse or clearance center. Plus, I'm getting a king bed and I hear that most stores cater towards customers looking for queens. I guess I will have to "order" the furniture. If you ordered from a store like this, how long did it take? Also, I did find one set that i like, but i was told they cant deliver for 7-8 weeks due to back order. Is that standard wait time or way too long?
We are planning to paint my room soon and get new furniture, any tips? My room is the same color as it was when I was 4! One wall is green, one is red, one is blue, and one is yellow! There is matching rainbow furniture and literally everything is colored like my walls. After 7 long, painful years without being able to bring someone into my room, we are finally painting it, hurray! The problem is...well...a lot of things. My dad is already in the construction business, so we can do the painting ourselves, but I don't know where to get the furniture! A "drag and drop" programme, instead of physically moving furniture around to try out different layouts. Has anyone had to build the 510 Combination bed made by the Jindiye Furniture company, China? I need plans!? I have bought the bed from Leva imports in the UK but they don't have instructions. There are hundreds of parts, bolts, screws etc and whilst it looks a lot like what yuo get with Ikea furniture (which I have built lots of very successfully!) the instructions are 6 tiny unhelpful pictures with Chinese captions! I need proper detailed instructions with descriptions of the correct fixings for each part, preferably in reasonable English please! The bed looks superb and the build quality seems pretty good. The full name of the manufacturer is Foshan Shunde Beijiao Jindiye Furniture Factory.

(or any other real company project) The reason why I am after that is because I can then take it into project & risk management assignment. Contemporary Floor Plans? I'm in an interior design class at my high school, and I'm looking for a website that has large contemporary houses (with many large windows) with interactive floor plans. When I say interactive, I don't mean touring the house, I mean being able to place furniture pieces on the plan. I've googled it, but don't get what I am looking for. Thank you in advance!

Dog proof furniture? It's all my fault, I know it. Yet, in the few unsupervised minutes it took me to prepare lunch, one of my teething puppies ate a hole through the fabric and two layers of padding of the sofa arm. I never liked that sofa anyway. ;-) Both my chewers have a taste for fabric and wood. So, as I plan to replace furniture, do you have any suggestions for dog-proof/ sanity-preserving options? Yes, I'm crating, using bitter apple, supplying them with chewing alternatives, etc. But furniture? So, I'm out of luck hoping there exists furniture with external metal frames and any fabric is heavy-duty and machine washable. I'm thinking long term - for any future dogs, as well. Maybe I need to design my own. :-)
Need help arranging furniture in living room? I am planning to buy new furniture for our living room and need help with ideas for furniture to buy and how to position it. It's a large, rectangular room that's our only family/living room - most of the time we use it for watching TV, playing with the kids, etc. but it's also where we entertain guests, so it needs to be presentable. Here's the layout: in the middle of one long wall, there's a fireplace, which is lovely, and should probably be the focal point of any sofa set-up. On one short wall we have a flat-screen TV mounted, and on the opposite short wall there's a huge picture window that faces on to the street. On each long wall there are a pair of windows, which makes it a little hard to position furniture against the wall. You enter the room from the corner adjoining the wall with the TV and the wall opposite the fireplace. We're replacing old furniture and starting from square one, except for an antique Persian rug that covers about two-thirds the floor. Any ideas?
